Trump ally Charlie Kirk shot at campus event in Utah

Setting the stage to blame this on Muslims in order to further justify the Gaza genocide.
Don't think so. Situation worsening in Gaza and region will blowback on US and Israeli interests.

Israel did this. The US authorities don't even know how it happened and can't find any suspects.

They'll ultimately cover it up.

Jews are playing a very dangerous game if they try to attribute their kill hit to Palestinians.

It will blow back on them severely and immediately.

Given everything I'm looking at right now from the campus maps and alleged positions, at 200 yards, the shooter would have been well outside whatever security cordon there was around Kirk. Remember, he doesn't have the detail the President does.

Would have to see more layouts of the building in particular for exits off the roof and proximity to nearest exits and parking lots. It just so happens (see screenshot below), there is a parking lot immediately behind the Losee Center:

I've placed X's where Kirk and the alleged shooting location were and circled the nearest parking lot.
Nah, Secret Service or not, if local LE were involved, they would have at least secured the adjacent building, that's a very common spot. Two hundred yards clean sight would have been my top priority, and I would have secured the building behind the rally as a command post and a counter-sniper position.

Unless they are expecting nothing but a crowd control operation, what I know is that Kirk had his own security team and liaised with local Law Enforcement. Approximately 20 officers were in the area with his personal security as well as an unknown number of Campus security; they have more than enough manpower to secure all the surrounding buildings. Either that or their security detail is woefully inept

It will not be blamed on the Palestinians. It will not be blamed on Muslims in general. The left will continue to be blamed.

Remember when Pat Tillman was killed? And how the Army covered it up? Ironically, one of the people I worked with was IN Tillman's outfit. He was there the day Tillman was killed.

I asked him pointblank what really happened out there. What did Tillman see or say that he shouldn't have. He took 3 to the head from 50 yards (truth). The Rangers were all running optics on their M-4s. You can't tell me the dude who greased him didn't know who he was shooting at.

The former Ranger got so mad at me he stormed out of his office. HIS own office!

So where I'm going with this is if they don't come up with the actual shooter, or a patsy, this will become a cold case.

security on campus is lax for good reason. you do not expect this kind of violence. i hope this is not a new normal

The it must be a thing. Butler 2.0 comes to mind.

I don't know what kind of protection Kirk had, but I do know people who work as protection details for pop stars; they usually consider close protection and anti-kidnapping as their primary concerns.

He knows things might happen, that's why he had his team coordinate with the cops, again, not knowing his team or what kind of background they have, but if they have had close protection knowledge, they will go back and look at CCTV around the area and then set the area according to threat matrix, and this is obviously not done, otherwise they wouldn't have this forum in the middle of a parking lot surrounded by elevation on 3 side IIRC. I doubt they conducted any counterintelligence and checked the CCTV footage as well; they should have reviewed those tapes to see if anyone was scouting the area.

Again, a shooting like this is not coming out of the blue, it's not someone having a gun at the right place at the right time, a lot of things you can do to prevent this, and I will guess none of them were done.

Well, I don't know, again, I know nothing about his team.

But this is probably the worst spot to be in for close protection. Now, I'm not sure if his security team is aware, and he insists on having it done in the quad. Or the team just slides over and ignores it. That's probably too late to discuss now.

Close protection is about control. You will at least try to secure the immediate area and cordon off your principal. I'm not sure if this is the case here, or if they are aware of it, but I don't see any coordinated security planning in this. Maybe he doesn't expect stuff like this to happen? Or he just wasn't rich enough to afford reasonable protection.

Butler is different; that's USSS dropped the ball. If you put this shooter at Butler, Trump would have been dead. Period. And that's not the level of protection the USSS should have, whether Trump wants it or not.

A new normal? This has been happening frequently at campuses in the US.

Hey cut the bullshit bro, freedom of speech is only when it suits the american elite political view, how many pro - Palestinian protesters were arrested as opposed to pro - genocide protesters.

There is no such thing as freedom of speech.

That was a professional hit.

The shooter aimed from such an angle that even if Kirk moved his head front/back or sideways he would still get hit.

This was rehearsed and preplanned, done by like a pro by a pro.

The shooter aimed for his jugular vein and thats where Kirk got hit. 0 chance of surviving!

The killer escaped. This is too convenient. Students were told to go their homes immediately after the shooting. This stinks quite badly. Don't be surprised if the rabbit hole goes deep.
