I see a bag, I don't see a rifle. And I don't think you can take down that Mauser and put it into that bag, it's way too small, and even if you can with bits sticking out, he would have to resemble the rifle in the woods for it to be found intact....

It’s a foldable rifle or a rifle that’s easy to break down and put in the bag, found wrapped in a towel bc he wiped it down before he dropped it.

There was a video of him walking to the university, and it looks like he had a "limp" of some kind. It is possible he hid it on his person with the barrel hidden in his trousers ?

you can't take this down



You can remove the barrel, the bolt, and the trigger group, but the body and barrel are each approximately 66-70cm in length. It would not fit in his bag.

Additionally, this is not an M24; it will take approximately 10 minutes with all the necessary tools to dismantle it. I know this for a fact as I used to own the same rifle.

unlikely, the butt of the rifle would have been too big to hide in anyone's trousers, unless he didn't have a leg.......Plus, I am quite sure he is wearing jeans.....good luck hiding it inside

I still don't understand what makes that 22 year throw away their entire life like that ? He will most likely get the death penalty. His life as an adult was just starting and now, he wont experience any of what he could have done as he will be locked up/on death row.

Especially in the current political climate, where people are suppressed on both sides, sometimes people feel that action is the only way to get their message across and be understood.

As for the death penalty, Trump will make this a federal case; it won't be in Utah, which means even if he gets the death penalty, this is going to be a decade-long affair. And that's no guarantee as the last federal death inmate that got executed is Dustin Higgs, who was executed in 2021 after being convicted and sentenced to death in 2000. 20 years ago.
