Trump Announces Major Pakistan Trade Deal, Vows Joint Oil Development/Exploration

@Samlee @RajaBaja @Baibers_1260

I have a somewhat contrary view about your opinion on the trillions of dollars of RE minerals in PAK. Are you guys brave enough to hear it?

Regards

We hear it all the time dude, all the time, any positive development regarding Pakistan defualts to Indians taking a counter view often not based on fact, simply because any positive Pakistani development seems to cause you a certain amount of mental and physical discomfort.

But yeah, go on, post away, we can all guess what is coming.....

India said no to F35, no to opening up our farm sector, stood firm on things that matter to us and got slapped with a 25% tariff. And even that excludes electronics and IT, our biggest exports and that’s before the deal is even final. Talks are still ongoing. Some give and take, and we might actually come out with a better setup once it’s done.

Meanwhile, Pakistan hears "oil" and immediately offers up mineral rights, joint exploration, mystery reserves, and starts blowing kisses Trump’s way and still gets hit with 19%.

And somehow, PDFers are dancing in the streets like they just outmaneuvered everyone all at once. you gave away your entire lunch and got taxed for delivery.

At least India’s negotiating. You lot jump into bed the second someone flashes a deal, no foreplay, no strategy, just "yes please", this is pure comedy ☺️

Let me refresh your memory. During the first term Indians were cheerleding for Trump and claiming how he would punish and teach Pakistan a lesson. It never happened. Instead Trump existed Afghanistan against Indian and NATO wishes.

Today Trump is cosying up with Pakistan and even willing to do business deals.

How did this happen my man? What happened to Indian predictions with regards to Trump and Pakistan?

Why is your Indian media crying foul?

How Trump’s ‘America First’ obsession has pushed India-US ties into uncertainty

Since you know what I am about to post, why don't you preempt me?

Bottom line is, there is a pizza pie, "ALL Vegetables" right now, being sold at your neighboring country worth at least $ 10-15 billion a year that you can have (our growth journey with trade, minerals, etc). You can act smart, sign a no war pact, become involved with the trade and join the CPEC.

Or, you let the pie be shared between the three great powers, the USA, China and Russia. The seller of the Pie (Pakistan) will grow it's economy and move on.

YOU, took the loss. Just like 7-0 in May. The choice is yours!
I don't mean to be sarcastic, but I truly have no idea what the so many words you typed are supposed to convey or how they are even remotely related to the post you replied to.

Then comes the growth. To go from $400 to $ 1 trillion economy, A LOT of business has to happen. That's nearly $ 600 billion dollars. American business are saturated in the US, why not jump in and ride with Pakistan? $ 600 million growth is A LOT of money the US businesses can make. In AI and Crypto, we have the labor force, the US can provide it's businesses English speaking sharp talent at a fraction of a cost in AI and Crypto industries. I hope these few things can help you understand how MUCH Pakistan has to offer its trade partners in terms of revenue and profit.

Yes, 250 million people of Pakistan with much better English language heritage than most of the world and a long history of working with the Western block, and being in a very strategic location with a powerful military to boot, counts a lot. There are reasons as to why the Americans never imposed too harsh punitive sanctions against Pakistan despite the 1998 Nuclear bomb test, despite Pakistan helping the Afghan Taliban against the Americans for 20 years and Americans know the reasons.

Thought basic trade principles may be beyond you lot....

19% is on lower side in Asia. Plus if someone told me 3 months ago Pakistan would get 6% discount vs India aka vishwaguru strategic QUAD partner, I would have laughed.

India is yet to make a deal. The 25% on India is without any trade deal. They are currently working on one. Which may end up with India only paying 20% or even less that too when it's major exports like mobile phones, laptops, electric appliances, and IT services are tariff free.

Now tell me who won ? We Pakistanis or India ?

No saaar! You are wrong, India will negotiate supa deal! -25% tariffs. US will end up paying us a fee to export

@Yasser76

Gwadar up and running,

How many MTs of cargo does it carry every year?

Regards

Not sure, my point is it is running, and you never answered my question (as per normal) on Chahbhaar? Is it "game changer" after 20 years now?

Not sure why you are butting in with your ignorance, but the post that was replied to had nothing to do with trade.
