Dont get so cocky. If in the end no deal is reached and the tariffs on India go into effect, Trump will be happy as he is anti-trade. But Indian economy will suffer with lack of access to the US market.

Today 18 years later, the value of those minerals has increased to USD 8 TN, although not an ounce of metal has been mined so far. The $8 T number comes ONLY from the recently verified assets that will be extracted! Call it Phase I extraction estimated value. We have many other areas already explored but untouched. The real number is much higher and they will value it when they start the extraction for phase I.

Sometimes I wonder how you guys from India think!! 18 years ago's 1 trillion became $ 8 trillion today :ROFLMAO:

The wild card really is the service industry. India's services/IT exports dwarf goods exports. IND can survive a tariff on its goods exports. What happens on the services side will be crucial.

The US was responsible for founding or nurturing the following NOC's National Oil Companies - ARAMCO, Kuwait Oil Company, PETROBRAS, ADNOC, NOIC(Iran). Today these NOC's are giants of the O&G industry. If Pakistan is sitting on substantial proven or yet undiscovered reserves then you can be sure she will benefit from American know how and funding.

Pakistan perfectly has enough labor to take on 25-50% of Indian IT offshore business. We are one of the top nation for free lancing IT work. The US will split its offshore business between India, Pakistan, Mexico Philippines and Vietnam. Just get ready for it.

They will CAP India around $2.5 -3 T economy and that's it. The dreams of becoming a "Soup-of-Pawa" are done with.
