Not sure what the relevancy is but these days (remember 9/11 was 25 years ago) planes can land in zero visibility at major airports equipped with the latest landing assist hardware. However we still aren't pilotless yet as taking off is still manual.

Plane lands with 0 visibility called ILS (Instrument landing System) approach. There are multiple way.

Today we have RNAV-GNSS (Or they called GLS) which is an GPS system basically your plane intersect the Glideslope (GS) with GPS path set up on your instrument.

Before GNSS, we have ADB-PAR (Precision Approach Radar) This is still in use but not as common as GBAD-GLS, it's a radar guided interception of GS of an aircraft, basically you have a ground radar guiding plane into the GS.

Before PAR, you have Localiser Approach. Each runway have localiser antenna at either end of the runway which you can turn into and land even if you can't see the runway. This has been since a long time (IIRC since 1960 or 1970).

And finally, you have NDB (Non-directional beacon) approach. Which is a set of AM radio station positioned in approach entry of any aerodrome. You tune in to different station (2 at a time) and it will guide you to the mouth of the runway. This has been used pre-radar time.

Your biggest mistake is that you think Wall Street tycoons and American workers are communities of interest.

When the Soviet Union existed, Wall Street tycoons were willing to use a Gini coefficient of 0.35 to distribute wealth in order to unite American workers.

When the Soviet Union collapsed, American workers lost their economic value. Highly paid American workers topped the Soviet Union as the Wall Street tycoons' worst enemy. After the Gulf War, American rednecks even lost their value as a tool of war.
