Depends when/what Trump was told.

If hew is referring to his initial briefing by US Intel then 5 makes sense. Would they update him later if it was 7? Unsure, he would not care less. For average joe and Politician, 5 or 7 does not matter. It's a thumping either way.

What is really interesting is that Trump really seems to be keen on needling Modi over his mediation claims and now the Jets downed.

Unsure if this is a tactic to get Modi to bend over trade or Trum has had enough of India.
