I get the feeling he won't listen to that.

It's easy for Trump to bark orders at Ukraine because he is not facing an imminent threat to the sovereignty of the United States

It could be even worse. Some Russian Bloggers posts I read are claiming deal involves shipping US components which are not available in Russia so Russia can repair their damaged refineries. Kiev is screwed US wants Russian Diesel.

This isn't just about cash. This is an existential threat to Ukraine

Of course they're going to continue fighting back, and they have every right to.

The war can be done tomorrow if Russia is gone. You can say whatever you want between the US, Europe, and the Ukrainian war, but that has no bearing on the war because the war itself does not concern the US and Europe; it's only between Ukraine and Russia.,

Quoting the great Commandant Quinlan of the Irish Defence Force

"If you continue to attack, we will continue to defend ourselves"

Anything else is BS, you can say whatever you want to say standing outside looking in, the question is, even if what you said was true, are you going to tell the Ukrainian to lay down their arms and get rolled over so they don't become pawns in this war?

I don't know how much you actually know about why this war happened. I have been to Ukraine 6 times, and I just actually went back from a 4-month trip between Ukraine and Poland, and let me tell you this: even if the EU says, "We are going to withdraw all support to Ukraine" tomorrow, they aren't going to lay down their arms and just roll over, for you, standing outside, whether or not which camp you are in, you see this war as an "American Ambition" to destroy Russia; you see this as a war Trump is making money. But do you know what a normal Ukrainian sees? Somebody bombs my village, killing my parents and making me homeless, and then the same people say my rights do not exist, and my country does not exist. Now you tell that man or woman to stop fighting?

You, and I, who have no stake in this war, can talk loudly outside and without any care or any circumspection of any point why this war is going on; that's not the same when YOU ARE THE ONE the Russians are trying to kill. What do you think the Russians are doing in the warzone? Asking the Ukrainian to come in a share a pint of vodka?

US-NATO started this mess has ben willing to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian since 2014. Difference is Ukrainian is running out of troops. Russians living in East Ukraine had decided to leave due to anti Russian policies and persecution by the Ukrainians would you prefer Kiev to bomb them into submission like in 2014 instead of letting them go? Cos Crimea and Donbas don’t want to be part of Ukraine.

Will Ukrainians bite the hand that feeds them?

We all know by now. America will do anything for oil.

The Putin is basically a publicity stunt to make it look like he's doing something.

The cost of diesel isn't coming down anytime soon

The deal Trump made with Putin won't lower the price of diesel anytime soon.

It's practically a publicity stunt

You do know that Russians are also dying in the tens of thousands in this war as cannon fodder.

It's not just ukrainians fighting for their country that are dying

If Putin left Ukraine today, the war would be over by tomorrow. You know that, I know that

It's been a few years of this war now with no winner so when is it likely to end? It seems to me to be a stalemate with no end for which we are paying both sides to fight. The West for bankrolling Ukraine and buying Russia's oil and gas. Trump has a real big point there?

There's nothing the US makes that China cannot make. In fact, China is far more self sufficient than the US.

Ukraine will eventually lose everything east of Dniper to Russia. That's what the old border is and that's what the new border will be and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

You said this when you tagged me in another post. And I'll say again, Vladimir Putin said this conflict would only take a 3-day operation.

It's now 4 years later.. so how did that work out for him?
