They are not taking the F-35 story well.

I want to see the Greek Baldy's face if/when we see the 6 F-35s delivered in Turkey in 2026, when they don't have F-35s yet.

Why is Greece so disturbed by all this ? There may indeed be historical tension between Turkey and Greece but any prospect of a conflict is minimal.

Well, probably Israel wants to open a second front from Greece to press US not to sell Turkey F35.
The more intense relations between Greece and Israel, the more diplomatic activity of Greece against Turkey.

yes that is a possibility that Greece is merely acting as a proxy for Israel in this, but why ? What's in it for the Greeks ?

They always hated Turkey. It is something atavic because of the centuries of ottoman domination over Greece. I agree with you, harassing Turkey won't work and being helped by israelis will ultimately galvanize Turkish society like happened in Irán.

They are freaking out b/c only a few months ago they thought they had "won". Where They were making some sort of defense pact with France, getting Rafales, Making a defense pact with Israel, giving US bases in Greece and getting F-35s, and they thought that Turkey was a "pariah", that Israel and the Greek lobby would be successful in blocking the F-35s, blocking Eurofighter and METEOR, getting CAATSA removed, and the engines blocked, and blocking the F-16s even.

Now fast forward to today, and its gone in the complete opposite direction. France wants to build SAMP-T interceptors in Turkey due to the cheapness and deep logistics chain, and sell the SAMP-T to Turkey. France refused their request to block METEOR, France's Safran signed an agreement with Baykar. Baykar is codeveloping and locally building drones in Italy for the EU Market. Germany didn't block Eurofighters, and wants to cooperate and even BUY Ballistic missiles from Turkey as well as integrate Turkey into the EU procurement pipeline. Trump dumped the PKK in Syria, signalled he wants to remove CAATSA, deliver the F-35s in Storage, possibly sell more F-35s, Agreed to sell the engines. Egypt has taken Turkey's side, who they courted all that time when Sisi had beef with Turkey. Haftar has betrayed them and switched to supporting Turkiye, and finalizing the martime agreement ratification. Britain has signed a strategic agreement with Turkey, which has implication for Cyprus. Spain and Eu member is buying Hurjets and talks of selling KAAN to Spain, propping KAAN potentially to fill the FCAS spot. And the momentum is likely to continue to build.
