Reminder, the Iranian mod of this forum and all Persian members have clearly voiced their support for things that were described in this HRW report from 1994. Iranian mod Persian Gulf told me, with a straight face, that "Artsakh was Armenian" and that Azerbaijan was in the wrong, although the whole conflict started because of Armenian irredentism: Miatsum.

This predates First Karabakh War by decades. There was obviously an Azerbaijani reaction to Armenian irredentism, same way there is an Iranian reaction to Baloch or Kurdish separatism.
He used not Karabakh, the name that has been used since 13th century in ALL Islamic sources, but "Artsakh", which was "revived" under Miatsum movement. Although of old origins, it fell out of use since 13th century like said, and was "revived" under Miatsum movement. That’s why most Armenians to this day still use Karabakh over "Artsakh", yet these people, purely out of their hatred against Azerbaijanis, use a revisionist name. I challenge him to find any mention of "Artsakh", rather than Qarabagh, in any Persian or Islamic source since 13th century.
Persian members regularly quote Ehsan Mohavedian on this forum, a literal fascist charlatan whos articles and tweets are 90% directed against Azerbaijan (which he calls "Baku Republic"). He also fully supports Armenian views.
One can only conclude that ethnic Persians supported Armenians raping, pillaging and destroying Azerbaijani settlements and killing 16 thousand Azerbaijani civilians (4x the Armenian civilian death count).
These people are also in conflict with millions of Azerbaijanis in Iran. Not only that it is the correct position according to international law, and thus the official position of Iran itself, but they are obviously going to support their kin. I say this, because these Persians at the same time claim to be "compatriots" with Iranian Azerbaijanis.
You are not going to tell me that Shahriar, one of the greatest Iranian poets ever, was going to support Armenians, are you? Dear Persians of this forum. You can’t understand this, but he talks about "people of Azerbaijan", and he included Azerbaijanis of Caucasus in that. He has many poems were he talks fondly about Azerbaijanis of Caucasus as his kind. As I said, you are in conflict with millions of your own "compatriots".
