Makkah Joint Defense Agreement: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

This is great news.

Pakistan has had great defence cooperation with Turkiye recently and this can take things to the next level. A joint Saudi/Pak buy of Kaan for instance will massively lower unit costs.
Pakistan brings Nukes and vast trained manpower while Saudi deep pockets. Many posters here have whined about the Muslim world not combining and when they do, people still whine.

Forget about India, Pakistan does not need Turkish or Saudi jets or manpower for that, we already proved it. If this pact gives us economic and diplomatic cover as well as ensure Turkish military supplies and Saudi oil during a conflict with India that is all we need.

Also know, Pakistan's nukes have been introduced to the Turkiye/Israel and Saudi/Israel equation, that is a good step for the Muslim world, especally more so if soon Turks get F-35 and Kaan.

Now means room for manouvre for Israel and India has tightened. As a little side perk the Al Nayans and Makhtoums will be fuming....
makhtooms are coming in lines only nahyan getting fumes. we also have some defence cooperation with somalia. i think its there to counter israel and nahyan

Of course countries that wont be happy with such alliances are usual suspects, whether this alliance bear any fruits or not only time will tell, but one thing that help Pakistan is that now PA is sitting in KSA with its fighter jets, AD system and few thousands troops which means we can somewhat keep an eye on the region and that one crazy country from attempting any misadventure.

Money is the issue for Pakistan, dont think anyone in the establishment wants to fight iran either but we are in deep shit. Financial situation of the country is poor so we have to bide time otherwise saudis are useless allies. They are not independent and cant do shit without the permission of uncle sam

The crazy thing about that situation, if you had to go to war against Iran to protect the Saudis, the cost of that war would make any financial contribution from the saudis look like peanuts in comparison.

Its a good deal for Pakistan until you would find yourself in a position where you have to honour it.

yep but things are moving really fast as vacuum ijncreases i this region. its good that Pakistan nd Turkiye are stepping up to counter evil nexus. Pakistan's presence in somalia i the biggest news in geo strategic but media is not giving it much attention . if we look at he world's map then everything is crystal clear

Are Pakistanis already cursing this? Where are the usual suspects of this forum, the alliance of Pakistanis and Persian fascists? Would be interesting to hear their opinion.

Majority Shia's in Pakistan will most likely oppose this, and will see it against the "Innocent" Iranians, but Pakistan have much more deeper ties with Turkiye and KSA than it has with Iran, KSA is important due to Mecca and Medina, and Turkiye because its one of the country that supported Pakistan when it stand alone, as for Iran they have shown support on and off but it is also true that Iran has ran extensive Proxy networks within Pakistan, and allowed India to use Chahbhar port to ran terrorist network inside Baluchistan, Kulbhushan Yadev in Pakistani jail is the prime example of that.

Pakistan as stupid as they are, will rally behind their alleged Sects, and shout and curse the establishment if the country's policy doesn't allign with their sect, that's why I call Pakistani's which includes me extremely guilable/dumb/stupid, and their lack of nationalism and love for their own country baffles me, they would fight/die for other countries and its people who will not even spit on their faces if they are dying of thirsts, be it KSA/Iran or Afghanistan.

Reminder, the Iranian mod of this forum and all Persian members have clearly voiced their support for things that were described in this HRW report from 1994. Iranian mod Persian Gulf told me, with a straight face, that "Artsakh was Armenian" and that Azerbaijan was in the wrong, although the whole conflict started because of Armenian irredentism: Miatsum.

This predates First Karabakh War by decades. There was obviously an Azerbaijani reaction to Armenian irredentism, same way there is an Iranian reaction to Baloch or Kurdish separatism.

He used not Karabakh, the name that has been used since 13th century in ALL Islamic sources, but "Artsakh", which was "revived" under Miatsum movement. Although of old origins, it fell out of use since 13th century like said, and was "revived" under Miatsum movement. That’s why most Armenians to this day still use Karabakh over "Artsakh", yet these people, purely out of their hatred against Azerbaijanis, use a revisionist name. I challenge him to find any mention of "Artsakh", rather than Qarabagh, in any Persian or Islamic source since 13th century.

Persian members regularly quote Ehsan Mohavedian on this forum, a literal fascist charlatan whos articles and tweets are 90% directed against Azerbaijan (which he calls "Baku Republic"). He also fully supports Armenian views.

One can only conclude that ethnic Persians supported Armenians raping, pillaging and destroying Azerbaijani settlements and killing 16 thousand Azerbaijani civilians (4x the Armenian civilian death count).

These people are also in conflict with millions of Azerbaijanis in Iran. Not only that it is the correct position according to international law, and thus the official position of Iran itself, but they are obviously going to support their kin. I say this, because these Persians at the same time claim to be "compatriots" with Iranian Azerbaijanis.

You are not going to tell me that Shahriar, one of the greatest Iranian poets ever, was going to support Armenians, are you? Dear Persians of this forum. You can’t understand this, but he talks about "people of Azerbaijan", and he included Azerbaijanis of Caucasus in that. He has many poems were he talks fondly about Azerbaijanis of Caucasus as his kind. As I said, you are in conflict with millions of your own "compatriots".

but the Turks will be backing Pakistan to the hilt, Supplying Weaponry.

We all saw this value from Türkiye with an air bridge from Türkiye to Pakistan on a near daily basis. This is important to Pakistan, to be able to get war time supplies quickly if required and Türkiye has a deep industrial base on this front.

China has this policy of "not supplying weapons" to countries as war as per their own foreign ministry statements, so I question during a hot war, how much China will supply Pakistan ? No such problems with Türkiye.

When it hits the fan and Pakistam faces an existential war against India, the Saudis will never honor this deal.

I don't think Turkey would openly honor any such deal either in that scenario.

This will be a mutual assistance agreement.

In times of war, the supply of weapons and oil is more important than anything else. If we can do this for one another, that will be enough.

What does this random rant about Armenians and Iranians have to do with the thread topic?

Not a random rant. Also not about Iranians as a whole. Khamenei explicitly said "Karabakh is the land of Islam".

I still don't understand what relevance your rant about Armenia and Iran has to this thread.
