I mean it was pretty obvious for anyone paying attention, they wanted Assad there but Iran gone, and they were trying to negotiate via the UAE to have Assad throw out Iran in exchange for Sanctions relief and normalization. But that all collapsed with the unexpected Rebel offensive, now they have an unknown, with a power in Damascus that they are unsure of, vs a known commodity with which they had a general understanding with for 50+ years.

Not obvious for the brainwashed community that believe Jews are solely evil. If Genghis Khan was evil, it was because the Jews got to Genghis Khan. If Hitler was evil, it was because the Jews got to him. If the Americans stole land from the Native Americans, it was because the Jews got to the Americans. In such a mind controlled fake reality, Putin and Trump are ok, so long as "the Jews don't get to them". If Trump is grabbing women, it is either ok or fake news, unless Jews are involved. Lets see how it plays out, I'm a bit skeptical of the whole matter.
They should hand over control of the Al Hawl prison, those prisoners should be moved from there and brought to a more secure area in Central Syria.
The next step is the withdrawal of the US troops, after which there should be a clearer picture in Syria.

The heck was he thinking trying to escape through Turkey? Iraq was the best bet.
I always thought this guy was more of a PR stunt than an actual commander. I don't know.
