10 years ago there were 3 main issues with US Turkey relations.

Gulen is dead, the FETO movement has mostly collapsed and receded.

Turkey has its own indigenous Air Defense solutions now and by 2028/2029, will likely have domestically replaced the entire Umbrella/Layer of the S-400, including the Anti Ballistic Missile defense capability.

And the most difficult of all, the PKK in Syria seems to be getting handled decisively, with the US potentially exiting Syria to go concentrate on other things, and there being a friendly govt in Damascus.

Keep doubting them. They are incredibly motivated and eager to learn and well managed force. Anyone who saw what they did in the efficient manor in which they handled Sheikh Maqsood and then the Eastern Alleppo offense all done in one day. This is a very capable force, that is levels ahead of what it was 1 year ago.

Look ho Dirty the PKK is, They purposely took over an Assyrian church and are using it as a base, as reported by the Assyrians on Twitter.

If anyone tried to take it back in the event that the ceasefire collapses, they will say look they are attacking a church.
