Turkey Syria - News & Updates

I think for now the invincibility of IDF and IAF has kept anyone in the region to openly challenge them, so far Israel's air force has bombed Gaza (No Air force/AD), Lebanon/Hez (No Air force/AD), Iran (Has Airforce but very outdated, AD was suppressed with US/EU help) Iraqi Militia (No Air force/AD) Qatar (Well its complicated), Syria (No Airfoce/AD). Now Israel's entire fassad is based on fear and their invincibility and once that is gone it will be very hard for them to control things, hence they hit hard at any potential threat they see near their border or in the region.

I think a conflict with Turkiye will put that invincibility to the test because there is no other country in the region that can match Israel's Air power, and I have said it many times that Israel's bold actions are direct results of the US backing them, they know that USA entire military and govt is behind their back and if anything they will get full support, and they have nukes so they threaten the west that if they are stopped from bombing these countries they will use nukes. EU knows this well and they can't do anything because of America.

Israel knows that for as long as trump is in power its basically like Bibi is President of USA, and they have next possible President also preped up (Rubio). Israel's existence is now tied to US military/economic power, for as long as USA is super power and stand between Israel and any potential enemy, no country will dare to attack Israel. GCC will use every excuse, and Iran is pretty much 1-2 decades back now, the best they can do is send some drones/missiles which most of them will be intercepted so its basically for a show.

Israel will not let Syria in peace because if GCC with help of Turks has reconstruct Syria and its military then they will start demanding their territory back (Golan heights) hence IDF uses these strikes to draw fear into regional countries that don't try to change things, Israel wants and they almost get it that they will hold the absolute power in the region and no other country like Jordan/Lebanon/Syria/Palestine/Iran/Iraq/GCC will be able to challenge them now or in the future.

Israel has previously targeted bases as well. However, Turkey has continued its military initiatives in Syria without interruption.

Much of the information shared here is propaganda. There was no attack on a 'Turkish base,' nor was any Turkish equipment destroyed by the Israeli Air Force.

There was no Turkish presence at the base. I think they were targeting Syrian Air Force capabilities.

There is no real significant coverage as it doesn't involve Turkiye. But the put out the statement condemning the strike and supporting Syria.

But don't you think that with strikes like that Israel will get embolden to strike even turkish forces in the future? we know the crap they are spewing against Turkiye for several months.

No, Turkey is not Iran, they want no part in such a confrontation.
 
Türkiye should establish a joint air base near the Syrian border ( in Turkish territory ) to help Syria train its pilots and rebuild a modern air force

This is a significant strategic proposition

Within a 10-year period, Turkiye could train Syrian pilots at this base
Additionally, J-10C Fighter Jets and AWACS should be acquired from China and deployed to this base for patroling in Syrian airspace

lets complete projects like KAAN 5th gen Fighter Jet and HISAR-2/3/4 Air Defense Systems and establish a modern Syrian Air Force with Saudi-Qatar funding in the next 10 years
 
Turkiye and the GCC (Saudi Arabia, Qatar) are planning to export energy ( oil-gas - electric ) to Europe via Syria.

Saudi Arabia even proposed a border change with Jordan to create a direct land border with Syria, thus establishing a direct land route with Turkiye via Syria for energy pipe lines

The goal is not to attack Israel; the goal is purely trade.

For this to happen, Syria needs to be a stable country, and we will ultimately achieve that ( Turkiye , Qatar , S.Arabia and Syrian Government )

We have to understand a key component of whats taking place. Isreal is in a race against time, while Turkiye needs time.

I want to point to the KAAN as key example of what i mean:

Americans will not sell us the F35, they are currently selling us the engine for the first batch of KAAN fighters. Not because they want to because its used as a point of manipulation or leverage against us. It stops Turkiye from doing anything that could lead to that engine that being refused to us. It also stops Turkiye looking to another country.

The point is until Turkiye has her own fighter jets in the air with her own engine, she must not be baited into doing something stupid that could curtail these developments.

The isrealis at all costs cannot allow Turkiye to succeed in Syria, that would be a collosal failure. So they will constantly instigate and try to provoke a situation that can get Turkiye embargoed, sanctioned or even targeted by NATO.

So for 5 to 10 years Turkiye will have to absorb a certain level of transgressions. The Turkish state must be able to ride out these next 5 to 10 years, while making constant incremental gains in the region.

As Turkiye moves nearer to completion of her key defence items like long range air defences or the KAAN the isrealis will get more adventurous. The primary aim for Turkiye is to ride it out, not to do anything stupid.

If the isrealis are going to bomb the odd place here or there in syria, then it will have to take in the short term to win the long term.

Many non-Turks on here don't realise, but Turkiye went threw hell over the syrian civil war. We have on many occasions both the USA and Russia threatening war with us. They too wanted us to do something stupid and we didn't in the end the Turkish backed side took over.

Their trying to provoke a retaliation so they can turn to the world and call Turkiye an aggressor. As long as Turks don't get baited their is nothing they can do stop the Turkish army incrementally setting up across the entire country.

Also their trying to scare other Muslims from joining the recent defence alliance. Their trying to paint a picture that Turkiye cannot save them from isreal, so don't even think about joining such an alliance.

But from an isreali perspective if Syria were to come under the complete wing of Turkiye, that is a disaster scenario for them. So Turkiye has to prepared for all sorts of games from the dirty zionists.

The slow and steady game is what wins this, no need for Turkiye to do anything stupid. Let the zionist babies lash out.

Next 5 to 10 years will be critical, either everything will be won or it will be lost.
