Syrians don't care about Palestinians. Nobody in region is concerned with us. Besides us using us for their interests. It's best we make a long term ceasefire in Gaza and stick to it. And attempt to push towards independence and statehood.I highly doubt HTS will come under direct U.S. attack. I fully endorse any people who want to live free. I think though if they cut supply line to Hezbollah and resistance axis it will only benefit Israel.
Whether people like it or not Hezbollah, Hamas, and resistance axis are the only ones fighting Israeli expansion. I highly doubt the U.S. would allow any future Syrian government to keep that supply going when Bashar goes. All we can do is wait and see how this plays out and pray that it affects Palestinians in a favorable way (which I don’t think so).
If Americans can handover Afghanistan to Taliban they can live with HTS .....no biggie..........HTS is not the monster as some posters portray her to be . .... besides , HTS. And other rebels are firmly under the Turkish leash .... nothing to worry .Turkey and Arabs will backstab HTS very easily. I don't think HTS is prepared for such scenarios. Jordan won't tolerate them. US and Israel won't. Despite Hezbollah and HTS being enemies (at least now), the US and Israel views them in same way.
Hezbollah and HTS would be smart to work together for their survival but otherwise all from Hamas, to Hezbollah and HTS will be abandoned by friends and attacked by foes.
Yes, unfortunately this is going to be a continuation of abandonment of Palestinians and are just cause. We’ve always been used to prop up dictators but now at least we know most of the Muslim world is exposed and don’t care about Palestine. Palestine will continue to resist as long as we exist. Our mere existence is resistance. I don’t see a path towards statehood and the peace process was always used to slowly enrich Israel with more land.Syrians don't care about Palestinians. But you also should know syrians will undermine HTS. Turkey, Arabs, US and Israel will. It's inevitable. Unless they simply dissolve themselves after the end of the war (if they manage to take Damascus and end this conflict), then they will be undermined. And with military force needed. Question of Hezbollah supply lines is irrelevant right now. We are from point of Syria stabilizing. Especially with US presence there.
It appears that the rebels critical communication infrastructure and equipments are provided by Türkiye.
For instance, they use ASELSAN-made walkie talkies.
Afghanistan is not next to Israel and fragile Arab regimes. They will absolutely not allow HTS to rule Syria. Only a small part of it temporarily as a bargaining chip because FSA is a business in it for money, they mostly work outside Syria and want to continue making money and aren't capable of doing dirty work. They will allow HTS to do dirty work then undermine it once they see regime has fully collapsed and cannot regain control. If Americans can handover Afghanistan to Taliban they can live with HTS .....no biggie..........HTS is not the monster as some posters portray her to be . .... besides , HTS. We have to as a people accept reality. Yes I agree to resist the occupation and make sure it ends. But don't set higher expectations than that. Just because there are other Arabs and Muslims doesn't mean they want to undergo a big endeavor to try liberating Palestine. They have more power and influence than we do. When they see it's in their interest is when they will do it. Right now it's not. So we should push for a strategic long term ceasefire and push for statehood.Yes, unfortunately this is going to be a continuation of abandonment of Palestinians and are just cause. Yes, I totally agree. I don’t see anyone supporting Palestine anytime soon. Unfortunately, Israel will eat up more land and try to force as many people out both in West Bank and Gaza as they can. How long will the Muslim world let this continue is the question. I don’t think they will bat an eye even if all of Palestine is swallowed up and the people forced out. I hope I’m wrong. We have to as a people accept reality. Yes I agree to resist the occupation and make sure it ends. But don't set higher expectations than that.
