Idk what they are thinking, all it does it upset Turkey, its a landlocked part of Syria on Turkey's border, whatever leverage they think they can get on Turkey or whatever harm possibly they can do, Turkey is in a position to do far more damage. Idk why they would do it, honestly seems short sighted.
