This guy is more deluded that I thought. No Wonder they weren't able to reach a deal with him in negotiations in Iraq. lol

Syrian rebels must be smart or they throw away every effort they made over the decade:

1.) Don't incite the Sunni population of Lebanon
2.) Don't threaten Hezbollah in Lebanon if Hezbollah stays out
3.) Don't attack any shrines. Even if you don't believe figures are actually buried there
4.) Focus on your security. Challenges will be from US and Israel. US refusing to give up control of east Syria and Israel playing dirty games.
5.) Potentially open up to understandings with Iran and Hezbollah. To keep peace. And Iran may be source of funds/weapons if international community and especially US sanctions you. Iran cares about its interests. It's interest is to preserve Hezbollah but also potentially make you guys a distraction to Israel for their nuclear program.

You are not in a strong state but pivotal for long term change in the region. Now also don't try to bring some selected dictator from the West. Unless you want to end up like the Kurds. Living off foreign funds and not having proper autonomy.

"the region can be steered in a more hopeful direction." -- Dennis Ross

Tells you everything about who is the ultimate winner here.

Sunni and Shia have to show maturity. And they are. Minus the people raging on the internet. Iran is showing maturity here. Especially after vicious assault on Gaza.

A free Syria could be beneficial for the region. Yemen and Iraq conflict have been resolved. This is the last one.

It will be a test for Arabs too. To see what they will do if Israel or US bully Syrians. And also if they try to interfere in the will of the people with their old ways.

The West is going to get tired of Zionist Jews that keep scaring Europeans and Americans from engaging with the Middle East. Europeans are familiar with Muslims and Islam now. So are Americans. There is a future of cooperation that will happen between both regions. Israel keeps trying to sabotage that because it will lose importance and won't be of any strategic need for the West.

It seems we are in the final phases gentlemen..

The only successful Arab spring, the reason Syrian opposition take arm maybe due to this brutal regime behavior. 42 000 people get genocided by Assad regime done in Hama in 1982 explain this lead to long civil war
