What I meant was while reports of ongoing fighting are already happening between HTS and the SAA, which seem to be ending in peaceful surrenders, and while I rather not see Turkish backed groups fighting the Kurds, but this is the moment they need to consolidate without killing; move in and try to get the PKK to capitulate. That is why I said “dealing with the Kurdish groups”.

Turkey will be getting quite a bit of the rebuilding contracts. I think the money will come from Qatar, and let’s see if the Saudis pitch in. Either way, once the oil fields are taken back from the PKK, Syrians can fund themselves to a degree. Not to mention the stability and return of people hopefully gets the economy going.

I didn’t even consider the GCC money to rebuild, and hoped that the FSA could rebuild on Syrian oil money, after initial financing from the Turkish state

Hopefully the Turkish parliament will support/approve funding to rebuild enough of Syria, to help make the return of Syrians to Syria easier, and create an allied population and government in the process.

Both Turks of all political persuasions as well as most Syrians refugees seem happy with the outcome.

Saudi Arabians are spending trillions of dollars building useless buildings in the desert. They should be made to pay for Syria, Gaza, and Lebanon’s reconstruction.
