20 or 44? I am confused, and what are the general public of Turkey react to this deal?

12+12 EFs are arriving immediately. The number is expected to rise to 44 within 4-5 years.

As for the public, the paid trolls are applauding wildly. As always, they must get what they pay for! Everyone else is trying to be cautiously optimistic, like me.

I think you are delusional on EF's You can trust that those EFs will only be effective as a deterrent against Iran and Russia. And you can completely forget about them against Greece, the Greek Cypriots, or Syria, or Israel. Anyone who argues otherwise is either mentally undeveloped or paid trolls!!

Turkiye does not give such a large sum of money for nothing.

Eurofighters will be effective as a deterrent against all threats including Russia , Iran , France and Greece in Syria , Libya , Azerbaijan and in the Eastern Mediterranean

What you said will happen in the F-35 purchase

EFs are mainly useful for developing concepts for Kaan and training pilots, nothing beyond that. More importantly, without access to their software, they provide no real advantages in controlling the KE and Anka-3 drones under the MUM-T concept.

We have already software for F-16s
F-16 OZGUR-2 will do it .. We dont need Eurofighter for this concept

even maybe software for using Turkish Missiles and Munitions on Eurofighters

If we had the domestic engine now or more 80 American F-110 engines , then we could produce 40 units of KAAN until 2030 which is already better than all 4.5 gen Fighter Jets F-16V , F-15EX , RAFALE , Eurofighter , SU-35 , J10C

Turkiye can not wait without new Fighter Jets until 2035 when the KAAN squadrons ready with domestic engine

We are very behind in the modernization program of the Turkish Air Force;
100 F-35As were supposed to enter the inventory between 2018 and 2030

No, I think we need it. The MUM-T concept, which we will use in conjunction with the Kaan, will, as you said, provide us with true air independence.

While EF are close to the Kaan in terms of kinematic performance, the F-16 is not. Therefore, the most realistic way to test the MUM-T concept is with the EF. F-16s are also useful, but we will achieve more realistic results with the EF's not with F-16's

Personally, I would even forego the munitions integration, as long as we have access to the software for the MUM-T. I think it's that important. Because we can also launch those domestic ammunition from KE+Anka-3 drones.

in the next a few years , there will be a platform with high potential same stealth capability with the F-35

There's no need to change it. Let them buy us 3-4 years; that's enough. After that, we'll be able to saturate every square inch of the surrounding countries with cruise missiles, hypersonic missiles, and jet-powered drones.

Since we also produce cruise missile KTJ series engines, production is currently in full swing. Hypersonic missile production hasn't yet reached full speed, but we'll reach full speed with them soon. Drones, on the other hand, are lagging behind because the TF-6000 and TF-10000 engines aren't ready yet.

Now, there is a concept of detecting and shooting the enemy Fighter Jets from very far away with advanced AESA Radars and long range air to air Missiles

F-16 OZGUR-2 with 185-200+ km GOKBORA - GOKHAN ramjet powered air to air Missiles will provide us same BVR capability with Eurofighter


so We will have 200+ F-16 OZGUR-2 ( with national mission computer , T-Link , etc ) for MUM-T concept

F-16 OZGUR-2 , KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 will be ready for MUM-T concept in 2030
