Qatari Pilots are not good to compare with skilled Pakistani Pilots

The Eurofighter will be transformed into a deadly machine in the hands of skilled Turkish pilots.

The Eurofighter T4 is excellent Platform with state of the art AESA Radar + EW combination and METEOR air to air Missile

also Turkiye will integrate its Missiles and data-Link into the Eurofighter to operate with the KAAN and KIZILELMA manned-unmanned stealth Fighter Jets for network centric warfare and MUM-T concept

It's never just about the platform. How you use it, as a team and as an individual, makes all the difference. Without knowing the ROE, none of us are in a position to judge Qatari or Pakistani pilots. At the end of the day, it was an exercise, and that's exactly how we should treat it.

Really hope our Turkish brothers get those Typhoons as planned, and asap. The way world politics is shifting right now, things could escalate anywhere, anytime. Better to be prepared and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Stand-off jamming: Detects, identifies, analyzes, and suppresses enemy radar and communication systems from long distances (400 km) without entering hostile airspace.

Bottom line: The ASOJ-23A is a genuine game changer for the Turkish Air Force. It dramatically improves electronic spectrum dominance, force protection, and offensive potential in high-threat scenarios.

Explanation of each item individually
1. HgCdTe
China Electronics Technology Group Corporation No. 11 Research Institute, Kunming Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Wuhan Gaoxin (GaoDe Infrared) have established 6/8-inch mass production lines, enabling bulk supply of focal plane arrays across all specifications from 320×256 to 2048×2048.

2,InSb
The 11th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation has achieved batch production of 2-4 inch InSb wafers, finalized the 5-inch sample, and mass-produced and equipped large-format InSb focal plane detectors. Domestic InSb is a standard component for infrared temperature measurement and airborne reconnaissance in China.

3.InGaAs:
Guohui Optoelectronics and the Shanghai Institute of Physics and Technology have a complete 4-inch production line. Domestic InGaAs short-wave detectors account for over 70% of the market share in China. They are widely used in industrial flaw detection, laser radar, and aerospace multispectral cameras, and their products are exported overseas.

4. QWIP
The Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the 11th Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and Gaode Infrared have integrated the GaAs-based quantum well material and chip manufacturing industry chain. The long-wavelength QWIP focal plane has been mass-produced, and dual-color quantum well detectors have been put into practical use, which are applied in aerospace remote sensing and national defense detection.

The super-large array (with dimensions over 6k×6k), the top-of-the-line model with extreme low temperature and extremely high sensitivity still have a slight gap compared to the leading American manufacturers. However, the basic mass production and conventional military/aerospace specifications are fully controllable independently. Turkey and Israel only do partial assembly and do not have the full-chain self-research and mass production capability for all four materials.

Turkiye is ahead of Europe in stand off Jammer Aircraft technology


1 - German IuWES project is still under development

2 - French ARCHANGE project has very limited Radar jamming cabability (mainly passive)

ARCHANGE is primarily a SIGINT platform

Total of 3 Aircraft will be delivered to the French Air Force until 2028-2030

But Turkish ASOJ-23A is a true stand-off jammer. It uses AESA arrays and Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) technology to actively detect, record, manipulate, and retransmit enemy radar signals

ASOJ-23A creating false targets, noise jamming or deception at long ranges.
Its goal is to blind and suppress air defense Radars without entering threat zones.


Only 2 in NATO .. ( Real active Radar Jamming )
