Turkish Defence Industry - Exports & News

New Peak in Defense and Aviation Industry Exports!

🚀 In April 2025, our defense and aviation industry realized exports of 539 million dollars, an increase of 54%.

Our exports increased by 67% in the January-April period, reaching 2 billion 238 million dollars.

The total for the last 12 months increased by 42% to 7 billion 635 million dollars.

These figures are not just a momentary success; they are an indication of a rise that is sustained with determination and supported by strategic steps.

As the Presidency of Defense Industries, we are working with all our might to ensure the sustainability of exports with high technology-based, high value-added products.

Together, we will further strengthen this chain of success that extends from large-scale companies to SMEs.

I wholeheartedly congratulate our industrialists, laborers and all our stakeholders who contributed.

Let's continue to work tirelessly for a Turkey that grows with national technologies!

If you look at the rolling 12-month period, you'll see that our exports are already significantly higher than the annual Greek defence budget. The industrial base being built to serve exports and foreign customers is the same manufacturing capacity that will assist us in any military confrontation. 👍

Turkey just barely missed the Malaysia tender. If the Jet was ready earlier I think Turkey would have gotten it.

It was a mistake go to the tender, you have no working bird :ROFLMAO:. A lot off countries want to changer ther trainer jet. So ther is a big market for.

Congratulations Turkey, this is significant. This will affect, I suspect South Korea more than anything else as a competitor.

Maybe the UK should sign on to replace the Hawks in all its forms and functions for the RAF ! ( in reality the UK will go with the Italian jet trainer as part of a standardised training pipeline for GCAP ).
