Yep, Only NATO Air Defense system, thats.. also not tampered with, incase the Israelis convince the EU states and US to sabotage it.

When you need protection both from Western systems, but also don't want the hassle of trying to deploy a Chinese or Russian system with the rest of your NATO equipment.

Air Defense Training from the Turkish Army to the Syrian Army!

🇹🇷🇸🇾Chief of General Staff General Metin Tokel conducted inspections and evaluations at the units under the 2nd Army Command.During the inspections, General Tokel also met with soldiers from the Syrian Army who are training in Gaziantep.

In the shared footage, it was observed that personnel from the Turkish Armed Forces provided training on the 35mm Modernized Towed Gun (MÇT) Air Defense Gun System to Syrian military personnel.The 35mm MÇT, developed by ASELSAN, engages targets detected by the MAR Radar at a range of 4 kilometers with the AKR radar. The 35mm ATOM Smart Fragmentation Ammunition creates a shrapnel cloud in front of the air target by fragmenting at the desired altitude. The mobile version of the MÇT, called KORKUT, is also actively used.
 
Spain provided a €1.04 billion loan to Airbus for the HÜRJET jet trainer.

Production of up to 45 aircraft is planned; first deliveries are in 2028.

A "localized" version will be produced in Spain in collaboration with Airbus and TAI.

RESULT : HURJET made its first flight without any problems and has flown many times

Now we are exporting it to Spain.
Even if HURJET was ready in 2021, Malaysia would buy HURJET instead of Korean FA-50

Agree. I am happy Turkieye has finally broken its jet virginity now. Turkiye is now all grown up and finally a man. 😊

I am looking forward to Turkiye breaking its jet engine virginity aswell. I am sure that will happen to.

As the older brother, I am hopeful that Turkiye can help Pakistan work out how to “get the job done too”. Pakistan keeps fluffing the main act all these years..

It requires money, lots of hard work, a good university network and patience for the process to work. Turkiye has all these qualities.

Thats the one that hurts the most, If the Malaysian brother held out for just a bit longer. Missed it by 2 years. 🥲

If that tender got held today, I can confidently say it would have most certainly gone to Turkey.

Turkiye experienced the disadvantage of this many times, as in Malaysia since South Korea's military projects were 3-5 years ahead of Turkish military projects

Poland would work with Turkiye to buy HURJET


but S.Korea becomes a key arms supplier to Poland

Poland buys 48 FA-50 Jets

The issues center around equipping these FA-50 Jets with weapons and advanced avionics, including potential challenges in securing USA approval for integrating specific armaments like AIM-120 air to air missiles

on the other hand , Turkiye has developed MURAD-100 AESA Radar and BOZDOGAN-GOKDOGAN air to air Missiles for HURJET .. also Cruise Missiles and long-range guided munitions
