Kale Jet Engines will export jet engines to one more country

Osman Okyay, President of the Defense and Aerospace Manufacturers Association (SASAD) and Vice Chairman of the Board of Kale Group, stated at the 4th Investment Summit held in İzmir that Kale Group will export a jet engine to one more country by the end of the year.

“The engines we produce are mostly used in cruise missiles. In this field, you can only export to countries that already have a certain level of advancement. Brazil was the first of these, and hopefully, there will be other countries soon. There are 10-12 countries with which we are continuing discussions. By the end of the year, we will export a jet engine to one more country, and there may be more than one.”

Kosovo has taken delivery of thousands of Turkish-made Skydagger kamikaze drones, arriving three months earlier than expected under a contract signed last December with Turkish defense manufacturer Baykar

Dozens of Kosovo Security Force soldiers have already been trained to operate the drones, which are designed for precision strikes against both moving and stationary targets

Skydagger drones operate as first-person view systems, allowing pilots to control them in real-time through video feeds.

The models come equipped with dual camera systems—thermal and daylight—enabling operations in various weather conditions and lighting environments.

Technical specifications indicate the drones can reach speeds of 130 kilometers per hour with a maximum range of 10 kilometers.
