Indeed, the variety and capacity is truly impressive. I wonder how much they should spend on this defense industrial base.

@MMM-E can you tell us about the amounts spent on research and development of these programs?

We have reached a $75 billion project volume in Defense Industry

We have reduced the foreign dependency in defense industry from around 80% to some 20% in such a short time as 20 years.

The number of the defense projects, which was merely 62 in 2002, has today surpassed 850.
While the total budget of our defense projects was $5.5 billion in 2002

54-- Aselsan ASELFLIR-500 E/O System

Turkiye has developed Aselsan ASELFLIR-500 which is better than Canadian MX-15D E/O System

HD Day TV Camera
Turkish ASELFLIR-500 : 4096x2880
Canadian MX-15D : 1920x1080

ASELFLIR-500 has very high imaging capability in low light environments
and especially for the first time in this class, with the HD SWIR camera feature.

ASELFLIR-500 can detect people over 20 km
And can detect Tanks over 80 km

So where do you think you will be on this list? You are afterall selling all your top tier stuff to everyone which gives you an advantage since countries like US and especially CHina do not sell top tier stuff.

1 Key fact
2 List of the 10 largest arms exporters in the world
2.1 United States of America, the largest arms exporter in the world
2.2 Russia, the 2nd biggest arms exporter
2.3 France
2.4 China
2.5 Germany
2.6 Italy
2.7 United Kingdom
2.8 Spain
2.9 South Korea
2.10 Israel, the 10th-largest arms exporter

Turkiye started this race 10 years ago
and Turkiye's exports in the defence industry were recorded as $5.5 billion in 2023

We needs more 10 years to finish the all Turkish military projects
even I can not imagine , when all Turkish major military projects will be ready for export in 2030s

just one example
only 60 AKINCI UCAV deal with S.Arabia cost $3.1 billion in 2024

While the MALE UAV-UCAV market was led by the USA before 2014 and China between 2014-2019, the leadership passed to Turkiye after 2020

Can you give source to that?

America makes 1 deal with Saudi = 100billion
America makes 1 deal with Australia submarines = 300billion

selling 2 cheap drones to Mali/Togo or Niger for a couple of million is not playing in the big leagues. Even CHina sells thousands of commercial drones each year which are then used for military purposes for billions each year to anyone and everyone.

This is what big leagues is about

Turkish Baykar Tech Drone deal dents Chinese dominance

On 18 July, 2023, Saudi Arabia announced an order for the Baykar Tech Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV during Turkish president ERDOGAN's visit to the Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia and Turkey signed the estimated $3bn agreement on August 7

You have biased and harted towards Turkiye
as I said Turkiye has 850+ Turkish military projects

but We needs more 10 years to finish the all Turkish military projects

Spain , Israel , Germany only can dream about Turkish military projects like

Turkiye will enter even top5 list when all Turkish major military projects will be ready for export in the next 10 years

-- HURJET next gen trainer and light attack Fighter Jet
-- KIZILELMA , ANKA-3 and ANKA-4 unmanned stealth Fighter Jets
-- T-929 heavy Attack Helicopter
