So whats going on? I haven't been following but I know there was hyperinflation a few years back. The GDP per capita and growth seemed good so is this report correct? How is affordability for average people in Turkey now?

Yeah its better to hear it from Turks directly otherwise its just internet speculation. Turkish GDP per capita grew quite a lot last few years but that doesn't mean much to the people and their daily lives if things are worseThe currency is continuously depreciating, and prices are rising sharply. When you receive cash, you need to spend it before it loses its value. I learned this from the owner of a Turkish restaurant.
The relationship between GDP growth and significant currency depreciation is contradictory. A growing country with a strong currency has sufficient data to support its currency.Yeah its better to hear it from Turks directly otherwise its just internet speculation.
