TEI Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk:
▪️
308 F-16 fighter jets were produced at TUSAŞ facilities. Of these, 46 were for the Egyptian Air Force, and the rest were for us...
▪️
In addition, around 323 F110 engines were produced at TEI. These are not our indigenous engines; they are produced under license.
▪️
We had already stated that we would use the F110 engine in the first productions of KAAN.
▪️
It's a well-known fact that we preferred the ready-made engine option for the initial deliveries; there's nothing secret about it.
▪️
Our national engine TF35000 is coming from behind. There is no weakness in any project. Everything is progressing according to schedule.
▪️
We have received engine approval for HÜRJET.

@Foinikas

Don't take this seriously.
------------------------------

There's only one remaining problem for us regarding the engine: the TF35000 engine.
------------------------------------------------

All diesel engines are either in mass production or close to completing testing, including the Altay's BATU Power Pack. Also TS-1400 engines, which are gearing up for mass production.

Among the turbine engines, only the TF-10000 and TF35000 have yet to reach the prototype stage, with their first prototypes expected in 2026 and full operation anticipated within five years.

IMO, the TF35000 engine is likely to begin operating as soon as it achieves the thrust of the F110 engine, even if it doesn't reach full power.

In five years, we focus will shift to the cryogenic rocket engine, which seems on track for timely completion.
The main article was more about the political struggles among the government's top players actually,than the engines

Look, I can't comment on that! LOL

The technical skill of our engineers seems to be inversely related to the ethical standards of our politicians.

So, no matter how unreliable this person might be, when it comes to politics, I can't be 100% certain.

TEI General Manager Mahmut Faruk AKSIT:

We have currently developed more than 20 unique superalloys and titanium alloys in Türkiye for our own engines.

If they don't sell you superalloys that can operate at high temperatures, you'll be left stranded. We alloy the material.

Starting from ore extracted from a mine in Türkiye, we obtained pure cobalt and pure nickel. This is a first in Türkiye.

We have completed the entire technology chain from the soil, the mine, to the engine in Türkiye.

We can formulate, melt, and produce the material ourselves. We have established a Material Characterization Center with international certification. The data from the tests we conducted there has received international certification.

May our people rest assured. We will soon see the TF35000 fly

AT LEAST 14 BATU ENGINE PRODUCTIONS

Images were captured of at least 14 BATU engine blocks being produced at the BMC POWER factory.

BATU; a 12-cylinder, V-type, 1,500 horsepower, 27.3L displacement diesel engine.

The engine is not only used in the ALTAY tank, but as MAVİ BATU, it can also be utilized in both military and commercial ships.

Osman Okyay, Deputy General Manager of Kale Group:

"Our target for 2026 is to complete two of the four engine development projects. One of these will be a 1200 N class engine, and the other will be a 400 N class engine. One of these will be unveiled in the first quarter, and the other in the fourth quarter"

The newly announced turbojet engines will herald the arrival of jet loitering munitions, jet kamikaze drones and inexpensive mini/medium cruise missiles ☄️

The TF35000 Program wasn’t launched in 2022. Here’s an interesting fact about the habits of Turkish authorities: a project isn’t officially announced until it’s at least 70% complete. So, if it was announced in 2022, that means at least 70% of the work had already been finished by then.

@Deino any truth?

Let's wait and see ... based on a well-respected member at the SecretProjects Forum "This isn't news to us; but I'd prefer if you don't share this guy's posts unless he provides a source, he’s one of those clueless hype-men."

What would Deino know about the that? wrong person to ask, he is skeptical to a fault.

edit: to be fair 2026 is too early for the engine, I havent heard any news about it from official sources.

But the other stuff is correct, IWB test and other things.

@Deino

I have a feeling they’ll follow the plan I’m thinking of. The TF35000 engine’s target thrust is over 24,000 lbf dry and 35,000 lbf wet—hence the name TF35000.

Once it hits about two-thirds of those numbers (16,000 lbf dry and 24,000 lbf wet), they’ll likely install the prototype engine in one of the prototype Kaan fighter and continue development by flying it remotely without a pilot.
