Testing continues for the qualification of the BATU transmission—which undergoes intensive bench trials and full field endurance testing on the Altay tank according to BMC Chairman Fuat Tosyalı. Under him the 1,500 hp V12 engine for the BATU power pack successfully completed its factory acceptance testing. Focus has now turned to validating the accompanying indigenous transmission system. Engineers are subjecting the transmission to intensive lab bench testing alongside full field endurance trials integrated into the Altay tank. Awesome Progress!!
