Interesting is they are developing TurboFan engine...

So no updates on the TFX KAAN engine? Looks like we are a long way till we see a real engine ready for testing.

This is a Kale video, the company building the KAAn engine is TEI, different company.

This company is building turbofans for missiles and drones I think.

The KAAN engine prototype is about 3-4 years off.

So far we have seen the TF6000, after this we should see the TF10000 and then after than KAAN would come into the picture.

Wasn’t Kale working on a TFX engine too or was that TR MOTORS?

Currently, only TEI is designing and developing the TF-35000 turbofan engine.
Because TEI's design was chosen by the technical committee, TRMotor's design was not chosen.

Kale and other companies will be involved in the mass production phase.

Baykar Company has purchased a furnace to produce single crystal turbine blades! Baykar will be the 3rd company to produce jet turbine engines in Türkiye, after TEI and Kale.

Honestly If Seljuk pulls this off, its going to be monumental. No other company that builds aircraft builds its own engines, the vertical integration is huge.

everyone can buy a furnace but how they will get the tech for single cristals, metallurji and general engine design needs? looks like they get from TEI and tubitak ,

I suspect the Piaggio aerospace deal and the Ukraine partnership as well probably engineers from TEI.

- They hired the female professor who developed the national single crystal technology while working at Tubitak as a technical consultant.

- IMO, they will start by using single crystal in the existing Ukrainian engine. Since Ukraine will no longer be able to produce engines, I think Ukraine will provide the designs of the Ukraine jet engines it has on condition that a quota is allocated from the engines to be produced.

- They will either get the remaining metallurgical material and experts from Italy or TEI. Let's not forget that Piaggio also produces engine parts.

a private company gets everything from goverment and sells them as if their own!

You are allowed to pay money to someone who previously worked for a Govt company to come help you develop similar things. Whats the issue there? lol

You think KALE and all the other private companies in Turkey never hired engineers who previously worked for govt companies of research institutions?

They are also hiring Ukrainian and EU engineers via the Piaggio acquisition. Nothing illegal or uncommon or unethical in any way here.
