Greece is dependent on Chinese investment. Infact for many EU countries, their largest trading partner is China, and their largest investor.

China is the EU's only dependable "Ally" right now.
The Spaniards have figured it out, We will see how long it takes for the Germans to wake up to that reality, they still think its the cold war. lol

There are a bunch of people from the West in Basaksehir, they work jobs that isn't an inperson job but a laptob based job. And they live in Istanbul, a lot of Brits and Americans. This is probably attractive to them. Rather than be a nomadic worker in Spain or Portugal, Turkey is becoming a significant alternative.
I know some people that work in tech here in NY and NJ area that thought about moving to Turkey.

Language is the issue otherwise , i go for some beach apartment or hut for my personal use.
