We gave BMP-1s to the Germans and they gave them to the Ukrainians and in return the Germans gave us Marder 1A3s. How's that? And you trust them with something they don't themselves produce? lol
You better hope you don't need them, b/c it will be years before orders are filled.
You're making a mistake here in "reliable and genuine greek patriots",the other has a lot of true patriots as well. The government sees it as an opportunity to strengthen ties, prove that we're not just talk and actually try to help friends and probably got nice counteroffers about it(like I mentioned above). The bonuses aren't officially confirmed, but
rumors are circulating. The problem is,many of those who shout "you are giving our missiles to the rich Arabs!" are the of the same mentality that BMP-1 is a strong IFV and giving it to Ukraine weakened our defence. The infamous "you took the BMPs from the islands and now the islands are defenceless" argument. They are the ones who think we should keep all the Soviet/Russian AA systems.
You see, most of our air defence is outdated or becoming outdated. The HAWK,the OSA,
the Tor-M1,the Skyguard Velos(Sea Sparrow with 35mm Oerlikon). Just the Patriot can't keep an attacking away. That's why they're finally getting on with purchasing Spyder AiO,Barak MX and David's Sling from Israel. If the deal is signed, because the MoD won't sign anything.

Oh it's apples and oranges again,ok. It's apples and oranges.Thats a 1 to 1 swap and done immediately, and not something that is rare or difficult to replace. You are comparing apples and oranges.

Well done Turkey. You don't give them, you don't use them and then you will be asking for Eurofighters again from themIf Saudis or Emiratis called tomorrow and asked for the S-400 and said they will pay for replacements later down the road. You know what Turkey would tell them? Sorry, S-400s are not leaving the country unless Turkey has an equivalent system in its hand.
Apparently, this government loves to gamble with the defence procurements and defence of the country or else they wouldn't have appointed Dendias as MoD,the man who deliberately delays purhases and programs to the point of exhaustion. But you seem to think Greece has done some brilliant thing. Which in essence is a gamble that between the time that it gives the system and the time where such systems are produced, and wherever Greeks fits in terms of the priority queue, that they will eventually get to Greece and deliver them, and between that time, Greece will not need them. All b/c of "money payment" or newer stuff. Its not a gamble Turkey would make.

My whole point either went flying above your heads or you guys are simply trying to downplay it. Anyway, like @Homajon said,a lot of bravado. But in the end nothing, concerning the AA systems at least.Qatar is a different story, but regardless, Qatar doesn't need them.
Turkey does not have a signed agreement like that with any other country in the Gulf.
You worry about Greece Foiny, if S-400s are needed, they will be activated. They are not currently needed, as there are currently Spanish Patriots and others deployed.

Upcoming. And PAC-3 MSE can not intercept upcoming TAYFUN-4 and CENK hypersonic MRBMs
Sorry, butYou don't have a point. You whole point is Greece Wasting interceptors that are in short supply and ones it doesn't produce on a gamble as some sort of strategic victory.

There's no proof of that claim.Actually, in 2020, the PATRIOT, HARM, etc. Missiles that were brought to the island of Crete by S.Arabia and The UAE against Turkiye were to be taken back
That's another assumption on your behalf, not a fact.Greece assumes it will receive ammunition support from these Countries in a potential conflict against Turkiye
But circumstances have changed, especially the relationship between Turkiye and Saudi Arabia.
