Turkish Foreign Policy and Regional Geopolitics

Like I said before, Azerbaijan is to Turkey what Israel is to the US - only worse.
No way

Erdogan doesn't want to leave him in Israel's hands. I think these are Aliyev's last chances.

How much power does this pig Aliyev or that other pig Netanyahu have in Turkey? They can just sack a adviser of Erdogan?

They made peace, right now it doesn't serve Turkish interests if there is a rupture. I don't think Erdogan is mad at his advisor, but this is more a case of the advisor sacrificing himself for Turkish interests and stepping down, that was the price Aliyev asked for to fix relations.

Its unfortunate, but we have to deal with the KGB guy's son as Elchibey is not there.

🇹🇷 Turkey is accelerating railway projects to establish alternative trade routes that will not be affected by wars.

▪️ Approximately $10 billion is being invested to eliminate bottlenecks in the Middle Corridor, which will connect China to Europe through Turkey. With the overcoming of bureaucratic obstacles, delivery times between China and London could be reduced to as little as 14 days.

▪️ The goal is to connect Turkey to Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia via the Modern Hijaz Railway. The line, which is being considered for extension to Oman in the future, will create an alternative trade route to the Strait of Hormuz.

Why couldn't the railway line, after Turkmenistan, continue directly through Iran to Turkiye?

This would avoid wasting time on transshipment and shipping across the Caspian Sea, making transport both faster and cheaper.
