Turkish Foreign Policy and Regional Geopolitics

The important Operation Corridor in '92.

Anyway,I don't see any reason this has to do with Turkey. It's not like BiH is under the custody of the Ottomans or something 😂

There are Turkish soldiers deployed in Bosnia. There are about 150 Turkish Soldiers in Bosnia.

Turkey has a moral obligation to help Bosnians and not leave them abandoned and help in whatever feasible way it can, whether diplomatically or if possible militarily. And to deter and diffuse any potential conflict brewing.

Maybe they're deployed elsewhere.

Its Russian weapons that they recovered from Hezbollah, not Israeli weapons. This is more about "equalizing" the limited Russian weapons ending up with Hezbollah, than a shift in their alignment. I wouldn't read too much into it. The Israelis are careful in not antagonizing Russia in a significant way where Russia start sending Iran things that change dynamics..

But they have sold them SU-35...

Yes, but those Su-35s are not significant enough to change balance of power.

Remember how many games Russia played with Iran in not sending S-300s thats Iran paid for. Russians don't fully commit. Some dynamics post Ukraien war have changed but Russia doesn't give Iran things that fundamentally change balance, neither to Iran nor Iran's proxies, in an attempt to not have the Israelis or the Saudis turn against them..

Russia wanted to give Houthis P-800s in retaliation to ATACMS strikes being allowed inside Russia. But backed away from it when the Saudis asked them not to. Similarly to when Israelis objected to the S-300 sales, or in Syria where the Russians were trying to limit Iranian operations.

Funny thing is Russia was playing games with us and Turkey as well when it comes to S-300s and S-400s.

I've think I've mentioned that more than a decade ago,Putin was like: "Turks are interested in Iskander, what about you?"

When Turkey got the S-400s the Russians told us not to worry, because it's not an offensive system. Later they got angry by the possibility of Greece sending the S-300s to Ukraine.

Well I doubt Greece ever rebuilds its relationship with Russia. Mitsotakis burned that bridge to the point of no return. I think Turkey might have better relations with Russia than Greece right now. lol

Turkey did already have better relations even before Mitsotakis.

Nah Mitsotakis took it to another level in fking over Orthodox Brother Putin. He sending weapons Russia sold to greece to Russia's enemies to kill Russians. lol

He didn't. All the soviet equipment that we sent were bought from ex-DDR stocks in the early '90s.
