The problem the world has now, is that for Apple phones, the cellular modem system for the new iPhone 18 onwards is an Israeli designed chip ie the C2. It makes it easier for Israel to put in backdoors to hijack a phone remotely given that the entry point into a phone starts with its cellular modem( and wifi ). This is a significant threat to the security of the phone.



The USA is ok for a while as it is uses a different modem, but not the worldwide variant.
