There was a meeting brewing I noted that both the Pakistani Prime Minister and the Pakistani Army Chief were present discussing strategic cooperation in Istanbul. Now idk if they are building it together with Pakistan, but it wouldn't be shocking. Pakistan does have some experience with Nuclear reactors. Though I'm not sure how much of it will apply to building a nuclear reactor for submarines as those are two different animals.

The main thing is the nuclear reactor part, I think Turkey is starting research on the matter perhaps jointly with Pakistan.

No one is fool enough to arm a nuclear submarine with only conventional weapons! IMO, it is worth the expense if and only if it carries NÜKDEN nuclear weapons.

Well conventional submarines with launch capability already exist(Israel, South Korea, etc) and MILDEN will be able to and even the Reis Class right now fires cruise missiles. With regards to ballistic missiles South Korea's KSS-III (Dosan Ahn Changho-class) is convention but they plan on a VLS system that fires ballistic missile.

With regards to Nuclear Submarines with Conventional weapons, the Brazilians are building exactly such a sub. As well as the Australians, neither have plans for nuclear weapons, and South Korea is planning on building one as well, and on paper they are NPT members but some people have speculated they have a desire to build nuclear weapons.

Consider it done if PAEC given full go ahead with necessary time and resources. They want to do it since long by never allowed.
