Great so finally the keel laying in March 2026

first steel cut was 2nd Jan 2025

interesting we can see 3 x blocks

1 mostly complete likely forward section
1 x mid complete keel lower section
1 x less complete too early to say

some are on constructions jigs awaiting welding with overhead cranes

I think for TF-2000 they will 60-70 such blocks

will they build just one and wait or will they do simultaneous construction ?

60 blocks, Tf2000 will be delivered in 2027 as a empty shelf so it will be need another 2 or 3 years untill the weapons and sensor package will be installed.

MUGEM Aircraft Carrier and TF-2000 Destroyer will be launched at the end of 2027

Istanbul Shipyard Commander Rear Admiral Recep Erdinç Yetkin:

The steel cutting for the National Aircraft Carrier has been completed, and the test flight ramp is fully finished. Aircraft tests will be conducted soon.

BAYKAR and TUSAŞ will begin flight tests on the ramp.

NUKDEN Nuclear-Powered Submarine Project
( YASAR GULER - the Minister of National Defense )

The Nuclear-Powered Submarine (NÜKDEN) project, which is part of our country's vision to increase deterrence against regional threats in the Eastern Mediterranean and surrounding seas and to become a global power, is continuing as scheduled.

The response given by the Minister of National Defense, Güler, to a parliamentary question on the subject is as follows:
1777514401459.png

“The Republic of Turkiye aims to increase its naval power by expanding its defense industry in various sectors, and also to build long-range and highly stealthy submarines. Currently, there is a projected timeline for the design, production, and feasibility study of nuclear-powered Submarines.

The Turkish Naval Forces are open to cooperation with all friendly and allied countries, especially NATO countries, regarding nuclear propulsion technology, and continue their efforts to utilize domestic and national technology in the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Project, as in all platforms.

The operational needs of our forces are determined in line with Türkiye's National Military Strategy, within the framework of threat analysis to the surrounding seas and our region, and the political-military conjuncture. The threat assessment created within the framework of these analyses and the selection of platforms compatible with our country's strategic goals form the basis of the project design phase.

The goal of building a nationally designed Submarine and a nuclear-powered Submarine within the scope of the ongoing National Submarine (MİLDEN) and Nuclear Submarine (NÜKDEN) projects aims to increase our country's deterrence against regional threats in the Eastern Mediterranean and surrounding seas and to enhance its global power.” "It is part of the vision of becoming."

Türkiye is beginning to demonstrate the unmanned vehicle technologies at Sea it has acquired in the Air

Game Changer technology
SINARIT XLUUV ( Large-Scale Unmanned Underwater Vehicle )

The SINARIT Modular Payload Unmanned Underwater Vehicle project, a highly advanced example of Large Scale Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (XLUUVs) representing the cutting edge of underwater technology worldwide in recent years, forms the backbone of the unmanned component of these studies.

This family enables mass production potentia lower costs, and distributed operations. In a conflict (Aegean or Eastern Mediterranean), dozens could overwhelm traditional defenses through swarming, special ops, mine-laying, and strikes on high-value targets.

DATUM's Multi-purpose Mini Submarine CAMD

Some of these capabilities include laying 12 Malaman mines, deploying 2 AKYA and 6 ORKA Torpedoes

-- gathering intelligence by surface-based deployments using Aselsan Mercan electro-optical sensors

-- conducting mine countermeasures operations with Meteksan's synthetic aperture sonar and ROV

-- carrying out attacks on sea, land, and air targets with Roketsan's ATMACA and CAKIR missiles, and TÜBİTAK's GEZGIN and GOKDOGAN Missiles.

The 12-meter-long platform is designed to dive to depths of over 300 m and can reach speeds of up to 10 knots.

Countries like Greece, Egypt, Italy, and Israel do not have such capabilities, and Turkiye will be the one to set the rules of the game in the Eastern Mediterranean with

So this SINARIT XLUUV can also be used for swarm attack on ships. Just imagine this thing goes near a naval ship submerged. And then attack its radars and weapons with swarm of 10-20 FPVs.

The possuble roles listed by manufacturer are intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance payloads, mine warfare modules, mine countermeasures packages, torpedo armament, and strike-oriented payloads.

Turkey is on a march forward in unmanned systems that no other nation currently has

imagine having 100 of these unmanned submarines carrying out a synchronised and co-ordinated attack

Even 50 of these unmanned Submarines will be enough to turn French+Hellenic Navies combined into scrap of metal in the Eastern Mediterranean
