This is the start of the problem that is being high lighted, and rather than dismissing it out right, the Cypriots would do well to see how the same story played out with originally "small" numbers of jews buying land in Palestine, and then property and then the small numbers of "refugees" and look where it ended up for Palestinians. Either nip this in the bud now, or accept its trajectory and where it will take you.

There're only ~800k Greeks on the island. They could be outnumbered by importing a bunch of Orthodox Jews from the American West Coast.
