Congratulations to Baykar, Aselsan, Roketsan, and others!

Very soon, the first test firing of the Gökdoğan BVR missiles will take place. Once these missiles are launched from the internal bays, it will mark the beginning of a new era for the Turkish Air Force.

Apart from the engine, every part of this robotic fighter is domestically produced, and the TEI TF-10000 engine is also on its way.
 
but why mounting AAMs externally? It ruins anything on stealth!
Doing the initial firing tests this way is a lot safer. We’ll run the firing tests first to make sure the radar, missile, and mission computer all work well together. The internal bay tests will come later.
 
ANKA-3 was the first flying-wing stealth UCAV in the world that performed firing test from internal weapon bay ( 9 months ago )

ANKA-3 also will be equipped with MURAD-100A AESA Radar and Air to Air Missiles

Good luck to F-16V and RAFALE in BVR combat .. They will need it
 
To avoid any misunderstandings, let me clarify that the Anka-3 launched air-to-ground munitions from the internal bay.

No information has been released regarding whether the Anka-3 fired the Gökdoğan BVR missile from the internal bay. It may or may not have. We don't know yet.

And yes, some will need luck against us in beyond-visual-range air combat. That's for sure. ;)

Exactly, but in the same way it must be said, but our special friend is once again is claiming something he does not know and which is most likely wrong, since neither the US nor China released such footage and the absence of imagery does not mean they did not finish tests already!

That's absolutely right. Knowing that economies far larger than ours are pursuing similar efforts, we should steer clear of bold claims like “we’re the world’s first,” especially in a field like military technology, where secrecy is the norm.

But if there’s solid proof we’re the first, that’s another matter—and I’ll make sure to announce it proudly before this “special friend” does!

Yes, a lack of evidence is seen as legitimate technological progress by Chinese fans, while facts supported by 100s of video evidence are distorted. Deino's excessive hyping of grainy and vague Weibo posts fuels a warped fantasy among Chinese people.

They didn’t say, “We fired these missiles in flight!” All we see is it flying with two missile-shaped attachments, and it’s not even certain they’re real missiles. Maybe this was just an aerodynamic identification test—how can we be sure?

That’s why I say we shouldn’t make claims without proof or an official statement. We need to be extra cautious when declaring, “We were the first in the world to do this,” or we’ll be compared to the boastful Persians, which I personally find insulting.

Anyway, it seems the first phase of the Kızılelma Project is almost done. Once the TEI TF-10000 engine is in flight and launches a BVR missile from its internal bays, a new era for the TURAF will begin.

What matters is the high quality military weaponary and Turkey is definitely up there. Regarding if Turkey Usa or China are first to test a weapon, what people need to understand is secretly Usa and China are working on next level technology, China is spending billions upon research and next generation weapons, Usa is doing the same. Turkey cannot compete 100% since they're both superpower militaries with huge budget but if Turkey can develop enough cutting edge weaponary then it will be perfect. I am hopeful Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Qatar and many other nations can support Turkey so more technology is developed, plus customers are needed.
