Congrats to Turkiye, this will level up our Defence industry in the world. Ther was a race ongoing with Americans, they claimed they would be the first in the world firing a air to air missile from a drone.

Thank you. I think they postponed it. The aircraft carrier version will be built in 2035 at the earliest.

Gokhan won't fire from this for a long time. The F-16 is the principle testbed that Rocketsan uses for missile tests.

not for a while, the current Kizilelma needs to first go into mass production and service, before a naval variant is built. And for mass production the engine issue will need to be addressed, the Ukrainians I don't think can supply the engine in a stable way b/c of the war. And I think Arrested landing will be needed as well unlike the TB3, so it might indeed be on the second carrier, rather than the Anadolu, unless the Anadolu gets refitted with arresting cables.

The KIZILELMA Model 5 aircraft achieved a new achievement in the history of world aviation by successfully completing a target hit test using an air-to-air missile beyond visual range.
In this test the two local components were used as follows
MURAD AESA radar from ASELSAN and GÖKDOĞAN missile developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE.
Thanks to this success, KIZILELMA became the first unmanned fighter in the history of aviation to hit an air target powered by a jet engine using an air-to-air missile beyond visual range.
The move was so big that the Air Force commander and directors of major defense companies flew aboard F-16 fighters to watch the strike from the air
Five two-seat F-16 fighter jets took off from Mirzevon 5th Main Air Base for a historic test, meeting Kizililma aircraft over the skies of Sinop. Kizililma conducted a five-a-side formation flight with F-16s, and also demonstrated the future of air combat by implementing a joint manned and unmanned operation (MUM-T).

Today we have opened the doors to a new era in aviation history.
We have successfully completed this historic mission using Bayraktar KIZILELMA, which we have fully developed at the national level

Personally, I think we may see what happened in the naval sector be reproduced. Pakistan will gain enough technical experience from Turkish and Chinese technology to build its own version, like it has done with the Jinnah-class frigates.
In other words, I'm of the belief that FAAZ-2 Will likely incorporate what Pakistan has learned from both the Chinese and the Turks when it comes to AA missile technology.
