Why would Turkey need an aircraft carrier and a helicopter carrier,now that's the real question. For a country which claims they have no "imperial" plans,it's baffling. The PRC is massive,so they get to have a couple. India is massive so they too wanted a couple. USA,UK,France,Russia were and still are imperial powers one way or another,so they get to have some. Italy is a naval power traditionally so ok,let's excuse them. For Turkey,I think it's only pharaonic ambition and superiority complex that makes them want to have aircraft carriers.
