What can China and Russia give to Turkey? Nothing.
I don’t disagree with you but What sets Turkey apart from the rest of the Muslim world are its Western values. This is the primary reason why Turkey is not a failed state like other Islamic countries. The West has developed due to these values, and Turkey shares them, which is why it is not as backward as the rest of the Muslim world.
It is simple, great stop gap and superiority over greek air force as well as second echelon fighter once KAAN enters in service.
It is bit more complex then that, western values in sense of social values are marginal within turkish one, state governing on other hand i can agree that is based on western norms but that did not prevent turkyie being failed state per se, what did prevent is their strategic position and internal strength, tradition and resilience of turkish people, simply put in one sentence they are imperial nation and those one does not fail easily.
I haven't seen a single Muslim-majority country that is as stable, modern, secular, democratic, and progressive as Turkey. Most of them operate under medieval-era laws and are plagued by terrorism and sectarian violence in the name of religion. Turkey is a stark contrast.
