The reason Emirates are getting close to India is political and power play, Saudis Qatar Turkey UAE Iran all compete with each other. Saudi Arabia is top Usa ally, the number 1 in the Muslim world, the same Usa backs Israel.

Unless by law resale of subsidized lots allotted to senior military and civilian personnel is deemed illegal, all of your usual critique is pointless. Generals sell land/plots that they get allotted for which there is massive market demand (because the land is developed by DHAs etc. and offers a quality of life that many in Pakistan crave). That gives them financial leverage (and they are not the only ones, all government ministers and senior bureaucrats get the same). If it causes you/other people heartburn, feel free to change the laws (but first you have to be a Pakistani citizen!). It is as simple as that.

Like every other organization, there will be some who will abuse their privileges and do corruption. That does not make the entire institution - which you comically refer to as "GHQ" - guilty. Not every person in uniform is corrupt and gathering ill-gotten money.

Building economies require resilience, patience, extremely hard work and dedication. And the average Pakistani in Pakistan is lazy, workshy, dishonest, corrupt, and so on. There is no concept of hard work in Pakistan, most folks want to start at 9am and be done by 3pm lol - in time for Chai and Gup Shup - lifestyle funded by courtesy of us overseas Pakistanis.

Honest work is considered a weakness and looked down upon and choona lagana is a virture and national sport in Pakistan.

Pakistan Government and military make long term relations, they will always be close to the Emirates but ofcourse Saudi is Pakistan number one ally in GCC. Emirates relations will improve. Usa is biggest funders of Israel but we still maintain close relations with them. Emirates are playing games and soon will regret them, they backed off from Somalia and Yemen, soon Sudan, this will make Saudis happy and soon we be in the queue aswell.

Here is the reality: This happens only because some of the locals give refuge to these elements in the KPK and Balochistan.
Also, since the blame is being imparted so graciously, let's also be clear that IK and PTI failed miserably at the same and since they have been ejected from the office, the echo-chamber now blames the establishment for everything from milk gone awry to terrorism.

Everything needs dollars. In Pakistan's case, its hundreds of billions of dollars.

Look at India. It's a $4 trillion economy, yet it's people are dirt poor. The country has added more than 12 million people each year since 2020.
