Family friends through masjid and an old colleague. Shared Deen unites us very easily, on top of shared language (Urdu / Hindu although I think they speak Urdu like us). We’ve enjoyed their Dokhla, they’ve enjoyed our dishes etc. Please elaborate and share your experience.
It goes without saying that I would feel closer to a more religious Gujarati than a less religious Pakistani. I think factors like unaddressed prejudices also towards friendliness of interactions between the Pakistani and Gujarati communities.
