Me and my wife were discussing this very topic the other day and we both agreed and came to the same conclusion that out of all the different ethnicities/cultures we have interacted with, we found indians to be the biggest coconuts with no self respect for their own culture.
Funnily enough I remember almost 2 decades ago my white scottish manager (who although had lots of qualms with the english due to their history) told me she found indians to be more english than the english themselves. For her their coconut behaviour was loathsome.
From my experience I have found that if you respect your own culture, religion and language and it shows in your actions then people from other cultures also respect that deeply.
This is the main reason we see Pakistanis standing up to the racists in UK as majority of us are proud of our own heritage and have no sense of inferiority complex.
After all we have also spent decades in building up UK with our blood and sweat and have made massive contribution to UK despite experiencing discrimination, racism and experiencing life challenges as ethnic minority.
I say this as someone who originally came from Lahore to UK in mid 90s as a 11 years old boy with very little knowledge of English and have spent more than 30 years to build a life for me and my family in UK and in the process I have experienced first hand the kind of challenges life throws at you as an immigrant.
Compare this to the some obscure racist living on the dole who couldn't be bother to work hard/smart to progress in his/her own native country despite being part of majority and having natural advantages and just blaming immigration for all the problems.
The sikhs particularly sikh women are the worst of the worst when it comes to the worship of the white european races.
