The interesting question is whether Kuwait and Bahrain, the other Israeli allies, follow. On the face of it, it would seem the UAE is making a series of catastrophic errors. But let’s see. Time will tell.

In my opinion, i won't be surprised if in medium term, Saudi decides send UAE back to stone age, Iran may fancy some of the land/islands etc. Pakistan will likely be part of it too. Hard to imagine how a tiny nation like UAE, where its residents are mostly the expat workers, can getaway with animosity toward Iran and Saudi Arabia. This sounds like a national suicide.
