Current U.S. president Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump are either roughly tied or Trump is in the lead, depending on what poll or simulation you choose to look at.
In an online poll this week, however, just under two-thirds of Village Media readers were confident that Biden would be re-elected.


Men tended to think a Trump victory was more likely than women:

There is a very sharp age difference:

And a more modest difference by education, with university graduates seeing a Biden victory as more likely:

In general, across a long series of polls, readers seemed to see what seems to be their preferred outcome (inferred through views of Canadian, U.S. or more global politics) as the most likely one.
