I can tell you one thing. if Trump win, you will see Trump popular vote is about the same or a bit less than what he got in 2020. But Harris will lose a big chunk of Popular vote if she loses. That's because of Harris losing the undecided centrist voter that come out strong in support for Biden back in 2020.

Trying to go after Trump, sure, that's okay, because you need to beat Trump to win the race, but the issue here is, this is more or less a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and the change of leadership so close to the race means you aren't going to pull the undecided back to your camp, because they know one thing, and you are giving them another.

They really should have dropped Biden back in November 2022, but then you know what happened (or rather what did not happen?) The Red Wave did not happen where it was supposed to, and they kept Biden, and independent can only tolerate a party only so far, and they did in 2022, not in 2024 if Dem loses it.

I think the analysis is not that complicated. This seems to rhyme with 1980 or 1992. "It is the economy, stupid", pure and simple.
 
Trump still needs 40 electoral college votes. Will he get them?
 
If the democrats hold on to the House, that will mean Hakim Jeffries (and Pelosi directing him from behind the scenes) will be the focus of resistance within the government to Trump’s policies.

APNA has a good relationship with him.

There are a lot of Pakistani-Americans in Brooklyn, where Jeffries district is located.

Nah, economy is not really the issue why Harris loss, Trump didn't have any economy plan.

The issue is more toward other general aspect of the candidate.

I do agree that voter felt left out by the dem. But this time is more about people who don't vote, didn't. And you need those people who don't usually vote to vote for the dem to win. I mean, look at how Biden flip both Georgia and Arizona in 2020, you need that independent to vote for you so you can get over the top

If Trump gain in popular vote than in 2020, then yes, that mean they swing some independent from his policy. Otherwise you are just talking about base vs base and majority of the base don't care about policy, they vote for the base they are going for.

Economy is not terrible; but Trump, the brand marketeer extraordinaire, was able to hang inflation as an albatross around Kamala's neck as if she did something to increase price of milk or gas. His voters were simpleton enough to buy that, especially when you poison their mind with all the brown hordes from south of the border occupying your homes, raping and killing your lovely daughters.
