This is nothing new for the Dems.
It has always been like that.
Name one industry the Dems have supported that actually creates jobs for working class people and exports the products they make?
NONE.
Their idea of support is to stick them in low wage administration jobs in the Government or the service industry...or worse in the Arts in Humanities.
It certainly isn't manufacturing jobs. All the pollution regulations sunk that ship.
It's all about who has the juice, who has the money to pay to play.
The Democrats sell favors and government contracts. Republicans too, but Democrats have it down to a science.
You want a big city contract? Put a mayor's relative on your company's payroll.
Another scam common with Democrats is jacking those with contracts for favors, or some administrative flunky will find a reason not to pay.
I worked for three years for the City of Detroit in a position that put me in touch with hundreds of executives and business owners. Several of them, mostly old timers would pull me aside and tell me things.
One well known builder just finished a million dollar contract with the City of Detroit and was told he will not be paid until he did some work on the Manoogian Mansion - the residence of the mayor of Detroit.
The builder knows the game. Told the city this much material and when it runs out, my employees are going home. Deal.
Corrupt as hell, but no one wants to be tied up in the courts. Just the cost of doing business in Detroit.
Here's another one. Part of my job certifying businesses for government contracts was making sure real estate and property taxes were paid.
Didn't take me long to notice a pattern with those connected to the Democrat machine. Went to the tax office, asked for files and asked a few questions.
LOL! Mayor's friends and cronies were paying zero taxes on millions of dollars in business property by having the number 9 as the first number on their tax bill.
I quit after three years. No pension was worth looking the other way.
