A little bit off topic but Musk is blowing smoke as he always does.
FDA fast track designation does NOT mean that the proposed cure is good or even workable. That determination is only made after a series of trials are conducted and the results are evaluated by the FDA.
FDA fast track designation simply means that the problem being addressed is an unmet need with sufficient public interest, and the proposed cure is not frivolous.
