Student protestors at elite universities sounding their disapproval of the war in Gaza, were shockingly and aggressively shut down, some even arrested. Biden - a democratic president – failed to protect them and failed to address it.

A lot of these very students were also first-time voters.

At the end, those in battleground states, who eventually decided the outcome of the election, said overwhelmingly, that they just did not like the United States as it is today.

The economy, migration, crime won, as the nation experienced a voter backflip within the race, education, income and age brackets.

Harris was just unable to break through Trump’s hold on deeply red states and failed to convert undecided voters and under-represented communities.

As the Democratic party deals with an existential crisis and recalibrates, the US this morning, whether for better or worse, has woken up to change.

It was more the "Progressives" and not just Muslims.

Democrats probably can never win again unless they show that they are a party that cares about human rights and accepted international norms. These voters will simply either vote 3rd party or stay at home.

The only thing that helps is for the dem to go back to grass root.

They have become too elitist for people who live in the suburb to vote for them. They lost the people when they don't focus on connecting to the grassroot working class, instead being indulged in smaller issue that only the rich and elite cares about.

That's when they lost touch with the little guy, and this is when the little guys make them pay, by turning their back on the dem on election. They needed clear policy to win back the little guy. Every Dem governor and congress member need to listen to their constituent from now on, see what they need and try to solve their issue, instead of AOC or whoring up for camera with A-lister.

They lost because inflation hurt the little guy far more than anybody else and they probably feel that Biden vote 4 years ago was their own demise since Trump didn't stick it to them so badly when he was in office.
