It's hogwash that they'll even attempt to deport 20-25 million illegal immigrants. The economies of states like California and Texas will collapse since most labor consists of Mexicans. There will be shortages of labor for construction, no one to mow lawns, no one to do countless jobs that illegal aliens do.

Just the police or military force required to deport that number of people doesn't exist. Not to mention there will be mass violence and a demand for Aztlan, the independent Mexican republic.

It was all no more than election rhetoric. As they say, it's too late to shut the gate when the horse has bolted.

No; Both of them did not work hard or smart about learning what an ordinary working-class American's concerns are and how to appeal to them. They got too fixated on being 'First Woman', 'First Woman of Color' adjectives. Nobody cared. If you come to my company to interview for a job as an engineer, I will give you a problem and ask you to solve. I will not be impressed that you are wearing a Versace suit or expensive perfume.

You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine, FACT is Trump won and Democrats lost the elections, whether its Black or Hispanic or Muslims or GenZ.. what matters is that people have pick their president, now what is yet to see is that either the world will burn or have a sigh of relief from all the wars that either US started, supported or involved directly or indirectly.

As I said, we don't know what we don't know, we can speculate all we wanted, but at the end of the day, those people don't come out to vote will not tell others why they didn't vote, in fact, we probably will never know who did not vote, so any speculation is quite pointless.

I can just crunch the number and tell you what I think, you may believe otherwise and of course as I said before, you are entitled to.

2008 was an outlier - to many people under the magic negro illusion. This is the reason I do not use 2008 for comparison.

Nah, 2008 is this is where this turn start showing, the urbanisation of Democrats base happened a long time ago, starting probably around when Clinton was president.

Also, there has been, especially in the past ten years, people relocating to areas more in agreement with their political views.

This is the exact reason why I said this, people move to their base align to their political point of view, instead of you should have an urban and suburb with both high and low income, you have a cluster of people you want to start with live within the same states at different county. Then it also applies to States

Now it's not about political ideology, left is not left anymore, and right is not right anymore.......

The urbanisation of Democrats is the move from being a grassroot to high income bracket voting.

While I can't say for sure why these is such a move, but if I have to guess, I would go with the most conventional and most reliable answer "$$"

Party need money to survive, and you can't get money from grass root. You can only get donation from rich/well doer, that's how Democrats have 900 millions war chest and have a star-studded line up like Beyonce and Taylor Swift. Compare with GOP 360 millions and Elon Musk trying to act like a wrestler in his opening act and Tucker Carlson giggle like a school girl.

That's the issue here, because young men (both black and white) are weird. And their weirdo brigade actually aligns with the voter than Hollywood A-Lister. That's why that work and the 900 million war chest does not.

Blacks and Hispanics are even more majority working and middle class over Whites and Asians. It’s the economy, as Clinton’s campaign manager use to say in the 1992 election. People need a way to work their way up, for example a way to afford housing.

As I said, I expected the dem to point the finger at anything, but the root clause, coming from an outsider (I am a republican in case you haven't noticed) Is there, you are not left if you aren't going after the hard worker blue collar class.

While you can out elite the elite with the GOP (And they do) but that's what? 10% of the country? What about the middle 50% that workday in and day out for a living? You are talking about climate change, transgender what have you like you have solved all the issue in the world already, you are going to get rejected by the mass base.

I am not saying economy is not the issue, it is a major issue, but the dem losing touch with Working Class Grassroot base is more of an issue than you can't fix the economy for the dem.
