After what happened this morning and over the past year, I changed my views. Sharia law looks more appealing

Even as a Muslim, I don't want Sharia law.

The last thing we want is religious people making laws. They should conduct prayers, teach ethics, and that's it.

After what happened this morning and over the past year, I changed my views. Sharia law looks more appealing than the corrupt system we have here in America.

I sent an email to the administrator requesting to start the thread I have been thinking of doing. Now want to build an Islamic community right in the Heartland of America.
I think you are being humorous. In the same vein, tell me one jurisdiction where Sharia law has led to good results. I will make it easier, which non-petroleum exporting Muslim country you believe is successful, worthy of being emulated by others?

So Trump won. What does this mean for the Muslim World and Pakistan?

This is going to be my very last post in this threads. And this is my opinion and my verdict of the election.

Let me start by saying, quoting my political science professor back at college

"American people are ALWAYS right, even if they are wrong, that's how US Politics works"

Many of my friend in Australia (had about 10 people asked me this already since Wednesday) why Black and Hispanic America will vote for someone that has outrightly said they are going to be ignored and with the right rightly trampled on? Well, simple answer is, this is not what they see, or not what they think it will happen. The issue here is "Narrative". You have a narrative that is so board that we don't even know where to start, who is the "outsider" to White people, it's everyone but white, to the Black, it's the Hispanic, and to the Hispanic, it's the illegal, it's not hard to see the board section of the law means even if you are legally enter and stay or even born in America, the policy Trump is going to enact is racially based, which mean you are going to get dink by it either way, even if you born and bred in good ol' US of A. They don't see it that way, they see it as someone that's not them, even if they fit the category.

The problem with election is that, you elect a government based on the reality of the country, but what is the reality? Reality is what individual believe on, and if that person believe in something other than your prospective, than that person is going to ignore you, that's what the Democrats has done wrong in this sense. The dem selling point is the GOP perspective was wrong, not because of policy incompatible with American. Rather the person who is in charge of the GOP, the one we are electing is not. That didn't really sell the reality. It's like I am buying a TV and I go to 1 shop, that salesman told me everything about the TV in his own perspective, it might have been too good to be true, it might have been a little embellishing and just blowing smoke up my arse. And then I go to the other shop, the lady there tell me nothing about the TV, rather how dodgy that other salesman is. Well, considering I am in the two shops buying a TV, not choosing their employee of the month, I am going to buy from the guy, even if I don't believe in a word he said. Because the woman tells me nothing about her TVs. If you don't counter that false reality, even if this is inheritably false, you will still buy that reality, because no counter construction or counter narrative occurred, that leave you just one thing to believe in.

And finally, the out of touch with the population based, Democrats have changed, the issue here is, democrats base have move into a higher bracket, city living higher educated type, those who make money and do well in this economy. I am one of these people (Not democrats, but middle class well doer) the issue people under that don't feel the way I do, I don't have to worry about paying rent, I don't have to worry about getting the next meal, but there are people that do have to worry about simple things in life, and you know what? They have the same vote I have, and the only difference is, there are many more of them then there are me. And these people are the one that is/was/supposed to be the core base of Democrats, yet, This is not who they are campaigning for. That's is why the Democrats failed in this election.

As for the future of the country? Well, I am a history bluff, this remind me of a little country called Germany and a political party called National Socialist German Worker Party. The time is 1932, there is a dude call Hitler, and the economy of Germany is not doing good since the 1928 financial crisis, a lot of white male are out of work, and have issue just living by, until Hitler come along and tell these people, their problem is the jew, they have the money, they have the job, they are taking that away from you, German then started turning on the Jew, election come in on 1934, German elect a new Chancellor, and the rest is history. Does that sound familiar? Well, if you can't see it, just replace jew with illegal immigrant.

This is why for the next 4 years, I am probably not going to go back to the US even for visiting. And for those of you who lives in America, may or may not be voting for him, for you, I will bid you good luck, and hope history does not repeat itself.
